I will sue TMA (Techiman Music Awards) – Mega Bush

It will be recalled that on the 13th of March 2021, the maiden edition of Techiman Music awards night was held at AJ Plaza Hotel in Techiman, and Salawudeen Awudu Suara known in the showbiz Industry as Megabush was crowned the overall winner of the night as he won the Artist Of The Year and also the best collaboration of the Year with ‘Am the jack ft Abbi Ima’ for his tireless efforts under the year of review.

It’s been over a year now but the people of Techiman and Bono East have waited for the 2nd edition but to no avail. One can’t tell the reason why the 2nd edition hasn’t or couldn’t come on but information got it that the previous board has been dissolved as the chairman position has been made vacant per the information gotten from Nana Baffour Moreyoo who is now in Dubai via his Facebook page with a reason yet to be known.

Mega Bush speaking to Gerry Gee- De General during an interview on Free 97.5 Fm on the Free E-Block show on Saturday stated he gonna take the organizers and scheme to court if they don’t fulfill the promises they promised before and during the awards. He stated all the promises they made was

1. A big surprise package from Hon. Elizabeth Ajari(Techiman North Mp) for artist of the year

2. A full one-year free recording with two studios for the winner of the artist of the year.

3. Projecting and sponsoring of promo and interviews both on Radio and Tv in Ghana for a year for artist of the year.

But it’s over a year now and non of the promises has been made. So he and his management team will give the organizers of TMA some time and if it’s not fulfilled, legal actions will be taken.

He went on to state that he and his management made their minds never to part take in any awards after they won the Non-Ashanti Artist of the year at the Ashanti Region Awards in 2020 but only joined the TMA because it’s a scheme from his town and he needs the development of the Region and town hence joining the scheme.

He was also asked if Bono East and Techiman entertainment industry is still alive and his answer was, NO it’s dead.

More set to follow soon……..
